FAQ'S

Why should I buy coffee online?

You can buy coffee every day of the week and any time of the day, from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

You have your buying and sampling history easily accessible.

You have all the information available 24/7 to make a thorough buying decision.

How do I create an account?

The first step to get access to real-time inventories and pricing is to fill out this form. This will enable you to buy coffee online, request samples as well as find other exciting information about our different coffees. Please note that accounts are granted to active coffee roasting businesses only.

When will my account be approved?

After completing the form, our sales team will get in touch with you to check the final details and better understand what exactly you are looking for. When everything is cleared, your account will be ready, and you will receive a confirmation email.

How can I buy coffee?

Once your account is activated, you can log in with your username and password (Click “Sign-In” at the top right corner) to enjoy the full scope of our inventories.

You need to select your own password when signing-in for the first time,

Is there a minimum order size?

Yes: 1 unit – this can be 1 bag of coffee (varying in size depending on the origin).

To reduce the CO2 footprint of your coffee, it's key to fully utilize the optimal loading capacity of the pallet: 12 bags.

Keeping this in mind will reduce the CO2 emissions during transport and positively impact your logistical costs: a win-win for your environmental and economic goals.

What are my shipping options?

The online shop allows two main options:

Option 1: You can arrange your own freight & shipping from the warehouse. You may have your own preferred or contracted company you wish to work with for freight, so we will handle everything up until we release your coffee at the warehouse. Our logistics team will CC you on release documents with the warehouse, and you can communicate your shipping instructions with the warehouse and your shipping company from there. This is called “Free on Truck Palletized” or FOT Palletized.

Option 2: We arrange the delivery up to your front door. We will indicate the freight rate separately in your contract. Cost depends on the weight, distance to your place, and additional delivery instructions (if applicable). This is called “Delivery At Place” or “DAP”.

Each pallet can contain 10 bags.

Can I pick up the coffee at the warehouse?

If you wish to pickup the coffee yourself at the warehouse, contact us at coffee@list-beisler.us and we can work with you to fir your arrangements.

How can I change my shipping address?

As details in the shipping address are critical for a smooth delivery, we need to double-check them with you in person. Do you have some special requirements when the coffee arrives at your place? Do you have a new preferred shipping company? Communicate your changes to us either by email or give us a call and we will settle all details and update your new shipping address for you. Once done, your account will updated in the online shop.

When will my coffee arrive?

Transit times are highly variable and depend on many factors. Orders placed before 12:00pm EST (Day 1) will be ready for pick-up the next working day (Day 2). Then, depending on the carrier arrangement, the shipment will be picked up within `1-2 days of being ready, and ETA will depend on your vicinity to the closest warehouse. Average is 3-6 days transit time, but will vary given holidays, logistic delays, etc.

Can I get better prices if I buy more coffee?

All prices are real-time based and calculated sharply.

For orders above 20 bags, please contact us directly so we can explore your situation together and prepare a tailor-made offer.

Do I get better prices when calling a trader?

Unfortunately, we are not able to reserve Spot or Forward coffees at this time. If you want to secure a specific coffee, you can buy it now - even before its arrival at the warehouse.

How can I pay for coffee?

You will be prompted to submit payment before your order is confirmed. We accept must major credit cards as well as ACH.

How do I request samples?

This only works if you are logged in. You can order samples by clicking “Request Sample” on the product detail page of your selected coffee quality.

The selected sample will be added to your sample-cart, located in the shop’s right upper corner (look for the red star). You have to go to the sample-cart, review your order and click “Send Sample Request”. Samples will be prepared, and you will receive an email when they are on their way to you.

All samples consist of 150-200 grams of green coffee (not roasted!). You can order a maximum of 4 samples. They are free of charge and will be shipped directly to you.

Samples are sent from our office via Fedex.

When do coffees from different origins arrive?

Coffee is an agricultural product that is harvested and shipped at varying seasons around the world. If you can’t find a coffee from an origin you usually buy, there is a good chance that fresh crop coffee is on its way soon. Coffees will be shown on the online shop’s coffee overview list. You will then be able to purchase them already before their final arrival at the warehouse. If you want to find out more, feel free to email coffee@list-beisler.us

Do your coffees have cupping scores?

All of our coffees are cupped and evaluated prior to and upon arrival in the US by our quality management. Our quality team includes two Q Graders and several cuppers with more than 20 years of cupping experience. We assign SCA scores to each coffee based on the SCA protocol.

The cupping notes can be found on the product detail page of your selected coffee once the coffee is stored in our warehouse.

What do I do if the coffee arrives damaged?

It is very important to check the pallets and the bags right upon delivery before signing off the delivery note with the driver.

In a scenario where bags arrive damaged, take the following steps:

  • Document the damage with photos
  • Note it down on the driver’s receipt
  • Accept the delivery under special condition of damaged goods
  • If you purchased the coffee DAP, then please contact us and send us the photos and notes along with the explanation of the problem (e.g. date, time, delivery order number, description of the damage, weight loss) via email
  • If you organized the delivery, please contact your freight agent to present the claim.
