Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic occupies the eastern side of Hispaniola, the second-largest island of the Greater Antilles in the Caribbean Sea. Bordering Haiti on its west, this paradise island is home to some 11 million people. Topographically, it brings along the highest and lowest elevations in the West Indies. Climatic patterns are not subdued to any seasonality, neither in terms of temperature nor rainfall. Hence, coffee production is almost evenly spread across the whole year.
